In the early 90s, during the infancy of their Adventures program, Seattle-based REI reached out to Clark Casebolt, who had recently founded Outdoor Odysseys Sea Kayaking. Clark proudly partnered with REI Adventures for nearly 20 years, bringing paddlers face-to-face with the breathtaking beauty of the San Juan Islands. Together, Outdoor Odysseys and REI Adventurers embarked on thrilling paddling adventures through pristine waters, rugged shorelines, and under the starlit sky, sharing unforgettable meals that became a hallmark of Outdoor Odysseys.
