Eddie Mechling is the newest addition to the Outdoor Odyssey team. A true naturalist, Eddie recently graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Business and Sustainability. Before moving to San Juan Island, she was an active member of the Bellingham organic farming community and developed a deep expertise in the Pacific Northwest’s wild mushroom bounty. When she isn’t exploring local beaches, you can usually find her foraging in the forest.

Originally from Park City, Utah, Eddie grew up with a strong background in nordic and alpine skiing, and she previously guided Class IV whitewater rafting trips on Colorado’s Arkansas River. With her passion for community building, organic farming, and sustainable living, Eddie is a fantastic asset to our team.
