Caroline’s love for the outdoors took root early, backpacking through the forests of Virginia. It was there that she developed a deep respect for wildlife and the natural world—something that continues to guide her today.
Caroline got her start as a whitewater kayak guide and trip leader at her childhood summer camp, and she now brings that same spirit of adventure to sea kayaking. With certifications including Wilderness First Responder, and ACA training, she leads with both skill and care.
On the water, Caroline is passionate about helping others build confidence, teaching paddling skills, and creating space to unplug and reconnect with nature. She brings people together through shared adventure, curiosity, and reflection—fostering meaningful experiences that she hopes extend beyond the tour. She loves sharing her knowledge of the local ecosystems and listening to the stories guests bring—always taking mental notes for her next adventure. Whether she’s pointing out a bald eagle, discussing marine ecology, or creating space for quiet reflection, Caroline’s goal is always the same: to inspire awe, curiosity, and connection in the outdoors.
When she’s not guiding, you’ll likely find her wandering a trail with her partner and pup or unwinding yogi-style.
