Pressed for time but still want to get out and spend some time on the water kayaking and viewing wildlife? Come join us on our half day tour!
Join our naturalist guides for a fun, informative two day sea kayak tour on the west side of San Juan Island. San Juan County Park will be our base camp as we kayak Haro Strait between Vancouver and San Juan Island, the heart of the best whale habitat on the west coast for seeing Orca whales.
Our favorite San Juan Island overnight sea kayak trip takes us through prime orca whale habitat to picturesque Stuart Island – accessible only by boat. We spend 3 glorious days kayaking and hiking – and enjoy fabulous views, fabulous cuisine, bottled wines and great company.
An expedition-style sea kayak trip that encompasses the scenic outer islands that ring San Juan Island! Whales, harbor seals and bald eagles coupled with our dynamite camp cuisine and “picture perfect” waterfront campsites makes for an unforgettable Pacific Northwest vacation.
Unwind after your days of recreating in the San Juan Islands by paddling back to camp for gourmet multi-course dinners and guided tasting of a selection of either Bellingham’s Boundary Bay Brewing or Leavenworth’s Icicle Brewering beer. Outdoor Odysseys is proud to partner with this Northwest favorite to provide a truly unique paddling/camping experience.
This class is offered through Skagit Valley Colleges and can carry up to 5 biology credits. This 10-day educational expedition will open your eyes and mind to the wonders and history of the Salish Sea!
