Our three-day “Eagles and Orcas” paddle to Stuart Island is, “hands-down” our most popular overnighter. What’s not to like? We paddle in excellent orca whale and bald eagle habitat, circumnavigate scenic Stuart Island all accompanied by our mature (average age 29) professional biologist guides.

Trip Features:
We camp on islands accessible only by private boat and provide all meals including lunches. (Some outfitters don't include lunch or even stuff like dry bags as standard fare.)
And, of course, we provide excellent meals, including Dutch oven cuisine such as apple/pear crisp, bottled wines and good coffee. Just because we're camping doesn't mean we have to totally rough it.

Every day on this particular route gives us marvelous opportunities for seeing whales and other large marine mammals such as Dall's porpoise and harbor seals. Of course, our paddling itinerary is helped immeasurably by our great tasting camp cuisine. After a day of kayaking, our smoked salmon pesto fettuccine, with organically grown salad greens, washed down with a glass of bottled wine and topped off with freshly baked Dutch oven fudge brownies is pretty darn hard to beat!
