 Since 1987 we have offered guided sea kayaking trips on San Juan Island for a huge assortment of different groups - all with varied agendas and goals. These agendas can have themes such as natural history organizations getting their staff outside to work groups such as Nike or Microsoft getting together for a day of paddling, networking and socializing outside the normal work routine. (Blackberries banned on these trips, natch!)
On a more personal note, the trip could revolve around something special going on in an individual’s life such as a wedding or somebody turning 40. The event could be something poignant such as honoring somebody’s last wishes. Last year we took out a group of family and friends on a custom 4-day San Juan Island kayak tour that came together to reminisce, honor and spread the ashes of a father and husband that had passed away.
 We have helped organize and had the privilege to be a part of kayak trips for getting married (no celebrations over getting a divorce, yet!), work retreats, family trips, girls or mothers getting away for the weekend, school outings, scout troop campouts, natural history organizations, board of directors meetings, father/son bonding trips as well as the occasional singles trip.
Your outing could be as short as a half day in Orca whale territory or a full-on expedition of 5-7 days on the water. For those who love the idea of paddling and hiking but don’t want to camp or sleep on the ground we also offer our B and B Kayaking/Hiking trips.
